The Herndon police reported the following incidents through May 4:
BRUIN DISTRICT
•A GPS, computer printer, and several related items were reported stolen from a vehicle between 5 p.m. April 25 and 7:48 a.m. April 28 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
•A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle between 12:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. April 26 and reported April 28.
•A 26-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for assault at 9:22 p.m. May 2 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
•Graffiti was reported found in the area at 7:23 p.m. May 1 in the 1200 block of Waterford Place.
•A 36-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault at 2:46 p.m. May 4 in the 1200 block of Summerfield Drive.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
•A 26-year-old man was arrested for assault at 1:44 a.m. May 3 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
•An undisclosed sum of money was reported embezzled from an employer between September and January and was reported April 29. An investigation is ongoing.
•A person's credit card number was reported stolen and used between 4 p.m. and 6:04 p.m. May 1 in the 300 block of Spring Park Place.
•An unattended purse was reported stolen between 9 p.m. May 1 and 1 a.m. May 2 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
•A noise complaint was reported at 12:07 a.m. May 4 in the 100 block of Morton Mills Lane.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
•A person was reported assaulted by an acquaintance at 6:40 p.m. May 1 in the 700 block of Lynn Street.
•A bicycle was reported stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. May 2 in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue.
•A door to a home was reported damaged between 4:30 p.m. April 28 and 10:11 a.m. April 29 in the 600 block of Third Street.
•A window was reported damaged between March 15 and 8:08 a.m. April 1 and the incident was reported May 2 in the 700 block of Center Street.
•Graffiti was reported found in the area at 9:57 a.m. May 2 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.
•Graffiti was reported found in the area at 12:43 p.m. May 4 in the 900 block of Tympani Court.
•A 59-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 3:54 a.m. May 4 in the 900 block of Ferndale Avenue.
•A 36-year-old Reston man was arrested for driving on a revoked license at 8:20 p.m. April 28 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road.
•A noise complaint was reported at 2 a.m. May 1 in the 700 block of Third Street.
•A noise complaint was reported at 10:03 p.m. May 4 in the 1100 block of Casper Drive.

CENTER DISTRICT
•A 14 year-old Herndon boy was arrested for shoplifting at 6:20 p.m. April 29 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
•A bicycle was reported stolen between 7 p.m. April 30 and 8 a.m. May 1 in the 1000 block of Alabama Drive.
•A person reported that he received and deposited a fraudulent check from a person he met on the Internet from Nigeria at 6 p.m. May 2 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
•A person was reported assaulted by an acquaintance at 11:13 a.m. April 30 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
•A 44-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:11 p.m. April 30 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
•A 30-year-old man and a 47-year-old man, both of no fixed address, were arrested for being drunk in public at 10:05 p.m. May 1 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
•A vehicle was reported damaged with a sharp object between 2:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. April 29 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
