| Upscale Sushi Bar to Open |
| An upscale sushi restaurant is coming to downtown Herndon. Sake Club, a sushi and sake restaurant, is expected to open in October in the space once occupied by Saffron Garden. |
| Sake Club specializes in "very creative" sushi rolls and Japanese tapas and also offers more than 100 brands of sake, according to Sake Club manager Judy Montana. He said the food's quality and presentation, as well as the restaurant's ambience and atmosphere, sets it apart from other sushi restaurants. |
| The original Sake Club is located in the Woodley Park neighborhood in Washington, D.C., and Montana said the restaurant is expected to open another location in November in the Columbia Heights neighborhood in Washington. Construction on the Elden Street restaurant began this week, he said. Visit www.sakeclub.net. |
